Say it ain't so!
1 Some people are convinced that the days of the 'black-heart' man are back! There is heavy suspicion that this kidnapping mania has something to do with people in search of organs and body parts. It is called harvesting organs. The police need to allay fears by saying whether any of the bodies recovered in recent missing-person cases had organs missing. This would put some families at ease.
Missed opportunity
2 At a time when Jamaican tourism needs all the boost it can get, it seems an opportunity is being missed to get in on the James Bond phenomenon. Ian Fleming's current exhibition in London is rich with references to Jamaica's role in the creation of the most successful movie franchise ever. Seems none of the important linkages are being made, to Jamaica's detriment.
Spanish Town gets a boost
3 The discarded one whom many thought was the person with the cojones to take the fight to Jamaica's criminals may yet make his contribution to making Jamaica a safer place. Persons in the Old Capital say he is moving with haste to set up an operation there that will result in fewer criminals creating mayhem in that area.
Out of options
4 The widow has apparently exhausted all options in the diplomatic community. Intimate dinner parties, beach trips and expensive gifts have not done it for her. Imagine how green with envy she was when she saw the happily married one getting her groove on with the charmer who, although retired, continues to keep hope alive.
